WanderingScribe

Feb, 2006. For the past five months I have been living in a car at the edge of woods — jobless and homeless and totally unable to find a way out. I can't sing, I can't dance, I can't scream loudly enough, but I can read and write. So here I am laying down tracks...hopefully the start of an online paper trail out of here. (Update: Miracles happen....if you are reading my story I am part of your proof.)

...a joy forever

Someone sent me this today. I have it as the screensaver on my computer. It's so beautiful I thought I would share it.

Hey Anya,
I just finished reading your book like many others who are leaving comments. Your story is truelly inspirational and had me crying buckets of tears at times. Your a very strong women for what you have overcome and have now managed to express your story globally. I loved the book and shall treasure the story of a child who felt so alone to someone who has achieved success and became such a role model to other people all over the world. Sometimes we just have to believe in order to keep going.
All my love

Good morning/afternoon Anya.
You've got a lovely name :)
I've just finished reading your book. I started reading it at the beginning of this year, but I put it down because it had made me feel really uneasy, but recently I picked it back up and read til the end.
You're such an inspiration. I love your fighting spirit for life, keep that up, because it's not just money, and food that keeps us alive, but the motivation and faith we've got in ourselves. And I'm glad to know that you've helped yourself up within those struggles of your life.
People may come by, walk past you and think you're just nothing, other people also may try to help you out. But it's what you do for yourself that helps you out.
And it's true what they say:
"You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only option that you've got."

I wish you the best of luck, happiness and health for the future.
I would show you my blog, but for now, it's quite private, and "readers only" can open it up.
But I'm going to be living in London (England..UK) next year, because I'm going to do volunteer work for a boarding school there.
What we put into life, comes back to us in five folds, or more.

God bless you, Anya!
